Who is this guy? Campbell Vertesi is an operatic bass, of the very low sort. His fach is sometimes called "Basso Profundo" - that's Italian for "he sings really low." Even lower than most basses, which is a bit frightening. He specializes in bass roles like Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Sparafucile (Rigoletto), and Colline (La Bohème). This site chronicles Campbell's progress as he begins a career as a young opera singer. Perhaps there are no American patriotic songs about the topics you mention because America was among the last Western countries to grant women the right to vote, the last Western country to end slavery, and the last to grant full equality to all races.
I think it's great that you read so much into casual music, I imagine you do have a tendency to do that in many other areas of life, and I'm all with you about the greatness of American freedom, but let's remember American freedom is founded on a British philosophy whose popularity declined long since the 18th century. That philosophy stopped being America's guiding principle almost immediately after its founding.
One other thing, dude. I can barely make out the "captcha validation" code. Those symbols don't look like anything on my keyboard!!
